The Anti Art Fair was a celebration of creativity and a call for greater diversity in the arts sector. The fair was curated by Creative Debuts and The Other Box and I had the opportunity to deliver a POP ART X HERITAGE workshop for their audience at Peckham Springs.
Pop Art in North Africa, curated by Noon Arts Project was a colourful exploration of the major pop artists in North Africa. The exhibition was held at P21 Gallery Kings Cross and I was humbled to be invited to deliver a talk about my own take on the universal language of Pop Art.
I exhibited my installation piece entitiled 'Beyond the Veil' with Nasty Women UK at Stour Space Gallery, Hackney. The exhibition comprised of all female artists/ performers and raised funds for the charity 'End Violence Against Women' (EVAW Coalition).

The formation of D.O.T with co founders Isa Nooruddin and Juma Harding Dimmock. Since Founding DOT we have curated three exhibitions with a series of poetry performances and we are now organising creative meet ups in between exhibitions to facilitate networking between creatives.
My work and interview for Radical Love Exhibition was featured in Gal Dem Zine. Radical Love exhibition was a group exhibition featuring 48 female artists all creating visual arts in response to love poems from the 11th Century. The exhibition toured for a year and had showings in numerous galleries in London and Ireland.

I was commissioned to create a mixed media painting for Shahid Afridi to auction at his dinner and auction event in August 2016. All proceeds went towards building water wells in Pakistan.

I was invited to Quwwatul Islam girls school to showcase a few of my paintings and to give a talk to all the year groups on pop art and on being a muslim female artist. I also gave the students advice on their own work and encouragement in their upcoming regional art competition that they were partaking in.
